John Legend debuts at #2 this week with 229,559 copies sold and even though I have no idea HOW (WHERE were his singles/videos in the radio/TV?!) I congratulate him. I find him boring but apparently he is shaping up to be one of those artists who can drop anytime and sell well.
The rest of this week's chart was a pretty abysmal showing for hip hop and R&B debuts, with Jibbs at #10, Shareefa at #20 and Lil' Boosie at #25.
In worse news, though, Brooke Hogan debuted at #28. Ouch! Not a good way to kickoff to Scott Storch's new label.
